GLU70

GLU70 is our patented strain that breaks down gluten, the insoluble protein found in wheat flour, while also helping to prevent, improve, or potentially treat inflammatory bowel conditions caused by gluten.

 

Gluten, mainly consumed through wheat-based foods, is known to be difficult to digest and to trigger inflammation in the small and large intestine. GLU70 addresses this by breaking gluten into digestible components, alleviating intestinal inflammation, and supporting the recovery of intestinal mucosal cells.

 

Research on GLU70 showed that it improved intestinal mucosal damage caused by gliadin, reduced inflammation, and increased pancreatic digestive enzyme activity. These results suggest that GLU70 may help improve intestinal conditions linked to inflammation while also preventing the harmful effects of undigested gluten such as gliadin, which the body’s own enzymes cannot fully break down. By aiding gluten digestion, GLU70 helps lower gluten buildup in the body and reduce its effect as a source of ongoing inflammation.
