MB1 is a heat-treated probiotic derived from the patented gluten-degrading strain MB0601. Developed as a functional postbiotic powder, it is designed for use in foods, additives, and products that require heat stability during manufacturing.

 

The parent strain MB0601 was patented in 2021 through collaborative research with government-funded institutes. It is known for breaking down gluten while also supporting digestion. Research has shown that MB0601 improves digestive health by stimulating the hormone gastrin and enhancing pancreatic amylase activity, which helps break down carbohydrates.

 

This technology has wide applicability. Incorporating MB0601 into noodles, dairy products, pizza, bread, and other wheat-based foods makes it possible to produce gluten-degraded products. MB2

MB2 is a heat-treated probiotic derived from the patented gluten-degrading strain GLU70. Developed as a stable postbiotic powder, it retains the beneficial properties of GLU70 and has been patented for its ability to prevent, improve, or potentially treat inflammatory bowel conditions caused by gluten. Even though it is not a live strain, MB2 has been shown to maintain its beneficial effects, making it suitable for food applications that require heat stability such as baking and thermal processing.

 

The parent strain GLU70 (Lactobacillus paracasei GLU70) is patented for breaking down gluten while also preventing or improving inflammatory bowel diseases triggered by gluten. GLU70 was found to degrade gluten into digestible forms, reduce intestinal inflammation, and help restore intestinal mucosal cells.

 

Research on GLU70 in its heat-treated form (MB2) showed that higher intake of MB2 improved gliadin-induced intestinal damage, reduced inflammation, and increased pancreatic enzyme activity compared with the control group.

DS0508 was patented for its ability to induce the browning of fat cells, offering potential benefits for the prevention and management of obesity. Browning is the process where white fat cells, which store energy, are converted into brown fat cells, which burn energy, generate heat, and support balance in the body.
